What Adage stores
Adage stores the information you choose to add: profile context, check-ins, skin ratings, optional body signals, routine and lifestyle context, reflections, reminder preferences, and optional face or neck photos. This record is stored locally inside the Adage app on your iPhone.
No Adage account or cloud
Early Access does not create an Adage account, upload your journal to an Adage server, synchronize it between devices, or provide Adage with a copy of your photos or health journal. Adage marks its persistent record and stored photos for exclusion from device and iCloud backups.
Photos and imported metadata
Photos are optional. When you select an archival photo, Adage may read an embedded capture date to suggest a timeline date. The locally stored copy is re-encoded and does not retain the original location or EXIF metadata.
Analytics
The current Early Access build does not send product-journey analytics to Adage. It may write limited feature events to the iPhone’s local diagnostic log. Those events contain feature names, counts, or booleans—not notes, photos, photo paths, health values, conditions, medication names, product names, or free text.
If Adage later introduces beta analytics, the change will be clearly explained and reflected in this policy before collection begins.
Apple and TestFlight
Apple may process installation, session, crash, and beta-feedback data through the App Store and TestFlight under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. Adage does not receive your journal content through TestFlight.
Export, sharing, and deletion
You can export a JSON copy of your journal through the iOS share sheet. The current export does not include photo files. You may also create a local comparison card and choose where to share it through the system share sheet. Adage never posts on your behalf.
Delete All Data permanently removes the local profile, check-ins, and Adage photo copies from the iPhone. Individual timeline entries can also be deleted with their associated local photo copies.
Security
Adage uses the iOS app sandbox and complete file protection for its persistent record and stored photo files. You can optionally require Face ID or the device passcode when opening the app. If the iPhone has no device authentication configured, Adage does not lock you out of your own record.
Health and medical boundary
Adage is an awareness journal, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, grade severity, or replace a clinician. If something feels uncomfortable or concerning, consider asking a qualified health professional.
